Comments: 
Batara Kala is the god of time and destruction, creator of light and earth and causes eclipses by trying to eat the Sun or the Moon. It is said he had an insatiable appetite and was sent to Earth to punish humans for their evil habits. However, he wanted only to eat the humans so was recalled and assigned to the underworld. One should seek his favour in order to avoid misfortune.
There is a well done repair to a break in his foot.
