Materials and method: Hand spun and hand woven sheep’s wool warps, wefts and pile, dyed with colours from natural dye sources. Good quality soft glossy wool and good colour saturation. Dark goat hair selvedges.
Origin: North east Iran.
Dimensions: 207 x 107 cm.
Date created: Probably beginning of the 20th century.
Condition: In good useable condition with very good pile. No apparent repairs.
Comments: The soft wool of this carpet is very nice to put your feet on when you get out of bed.
