Material: Sheep’s wool pile; warps and ground wefts are cotton.
 
Dimensions: 200 x 99 cm
 
Age: Probably woven in the last 30 years or so.
 
Condition: Used but still very good. Full pile.

Comments: 
This design is known as a “garden carpet” because it depicts various plants and animals that might be found in a Persian garden.
It has been cleaned and washed and there was no colour run, indicating stable high quality dyes. The colours are of a good degree of saturation.
