Obverse: Radiate bust of Antoninus right, legend around ANTONINVS AVG PIVS PP TRP XII.
Reverse: A tall and elegant Aequitas standing draped, head left, holding scales and cornucopiae, SC across, COS IIII around.
Origin: Mint of Rome. No mint mark.
Date of minting: Attributed to the years 148 - 9 AD.
Die engraver: Unknown die engraver at the mint of Rome.
Materials and method: Struck in bronze (orichalcum) from engraved dies.
Dimensions: 28 mm diameter.
Weight: 14.45 grams.
Condition: Very fine, reverse good very fine; glossy dark green patina; flan crack and pitting at 3 o’clock.
